Our history
The Chris Foundation was established in December 2015 after suffering a tragic loss of my eldest son, Christopher Kevin Mann. Chris always loved his friends and family and did anything to help. He was a very compassionate and a resilient young man that was taken from his family too soon. In his loving memory, I started this foundation to continue his dedication to the community.
Our mission
The CHRIS Foundation serves children, adolescents, and their families of Atlanta and surrounding counties. We are committed to providing families and their children with the tools to live stronger, more productive lives, – thus enriching the communities in which they live.
Our organization believes in the importance of Respect: expecting it, giving it, and fostering it among our participants and staff. Our services are designed to strengthen and empower participants, who will in turn build resilient and empowered communities.
We strive for accessibility, making certain that our services are available to all who need them.
